Optimism is important… Especially when you lose hope

I have been having a hard time with keeping a positive attitude and optimism lately so I thought this might help me and others.

“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”

Helen Keller

“Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A smile. A world of optimism and hope. ‘You can do it’ when things are tough.”

Richard M. DeVos
“One of the things I learned the hard way was that it doesn’t pay to get discouraged. Keeping busy and making optimism a way of life can restore your faith in yourself.”
Lucille Ball

  2. Sometimes things just keep happening the opposite of the way we planned. For me it seems to happen when I’m at my deepest depression or coming out of the dark, excited about getting my life back. I’ve gone through this many years with my heath and it is hard to remain positive. For me reading positive articles or post may lighten a load but for long term satisfaction I have to feel it in my heart. Reading great quotes can inspire you, make spark positive thought of your own. But change has to come from within you. Don’t set your goal to high, bring them down a notch for now. As get on your feet and more confident then readjust the goals. It’s a lifelong process, it gets old sometimes and I get angry. When I get over that by realizing I’m going no where with that frame of mind. Then I take baby steps doing something I enjoy, it doesn’t for how long, it’s step. Enough steps will have you walking. Good luck. I’m available if you need any help.
